The Non-Formal Sanskrit Education Center of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Deemed University under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India ,New Delhi has been started in session 2017-18 at Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management. Total 51 Higher Educational Institutes throughout India were selected by Ministry of Human Resource Development and RCOEM is one of them.

Non Formal Sanskrit Education: Sanskrit is a Scientific Language. There are many treatises related to Agriculture, Arts, Literature, Science,
Philosophy, Management, Technology, Ayurveda, Law etc., which are well preserved in Sanskrit. One can access scientific knowledge inherited in Sanskrit literature by learning the language through direct communicative method at a Non Formal Sanskrit Education Centre.

Aim of the Course

  • To initiate Sanskrit learning & communication
  • To introduce the science and literature in Sanskrit language
  • To get a working knowledge in a scientific language of the world, i.e. Sanskrit
Nodal Officer: Prof. B.M.Hardas ( B-00/5 , EN, Block)

Eligibility for Admission: Any person, irrespective of age, desirous of Sanskrit learning is eligible for the course. No formal education or background in Sanskrit is required. Open to outsiders as well.
Nature of Course: Part-time  
Study Material: Study material will be provided by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan free of cost. This will include first- and second-level textbooks.  
Examination:  An examination will be conducted by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan on completion of the course. A Certificate will be issued to learners who've passed the examination.

RCOEM Pragya Kendra( Sanskrit Center) concluding ceremony

Approved by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Deemed University of MHRD, New Delhi , The RCOEM Sanskrit center's session 2017-18 has been concluded on 25th April 2018 at a glittering function. Dr. Mrunalini Waghmare, All India Seva Chief of Vishwa Mangalya Sabha was chief guest.Shri Govindlalji Agrawal, General Secretary, RCOEM presided over the function. Dr. R.S.Pande, Principal; Prof. B.M.Hardas, Nodal offcier, Sanskrit center and Prof. Chandramohan Goyal, faculty in Sanskrit were prominently present. Function witnessed performances like Song , hymn and stotra recitation. Prof. C.M. Goyal presented annual report of Sanskrit Kendra. Dr. Waghmare in her speech applaud RCOEM for running Sanskrit Kendra and appealed students and Sanskrit lovers to take maximum advantage out of it. In his address Dr. R.S.Pande congratulated all the students , faculty and staff who were students of first Sanskrit center batch. Dr. Pande assured to add Sanskrit as open elective in coming year in RCOEM curricula. In his presidential speech Shri Govindlalji Agrawal expect more Sanskrit learners in next session and asked this year students to be ambassadors of Sanskrit. The program was conducted in Sanskrit by Ms.Ojaswara Pathak and Ms.Poonam Jain. Prof. B.M.Hardas proposed vote of thanks. The event concluded with recitation of Kalyan Mantra. ‚Äč
