Humanities   The Departments of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are headed by Dr. (Mrs. C.P. Joshi), Dr. R.J. Batra and Mrs. A.A. Basole respectively. Together, the PCM Departments have a faculty of twenty five with eight Professors, five designated professors and twelve Assistant Professors. Fourteen of the faculty members are Ph.D.s and three others are actively engaged in doctoral research. The areas of expertise of the faculty include mathematical and computational physics, solid state ionics, lamp phosphors, relativity, MHD, heterocyclic chemistry, synthesis of natural products and nuclear chemistry. Close to a hundred research publications in journals of repute reflect the active research engaged in by this faculty.

The Physics Department boasts of Mathematica Lab, a computer lab running Mathematica software, set up under the first AICTE project grant to the College. Dr. C. P. Joshi and Dr. S. M.
