Oasis, an event jointly organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Electrical and Civil department on 16/8/2012. The event was presided by Mr. Omkar Palandurkar of M/S Prashant construction co. renowned entrepreneur in the field of civil engineering and Mr.Sandeep Darwekar of M/s Beta computronics , a young first generation entrepreneur. The stupendous speeches by the guest of honors enjoyed a lively response by the students. Dr. R.S. Pande, with his baronial outlook enriched students about the essentials required for entrepreneurship. Prof. M.R. Jain, chief coordinator EDC, in his encomium encouraged students to take risks in their future entrepreneurial ventures.

The event organized by Prof. U.B. Mujumdar and Prof.A. M. Gharad, ED cell heads of Electrical and Civil departments respectfully, was marked by a formidable congregation. Mr. Ashutosh Singhal, Mr. Deepesh Gandhi, Mr. Ankit Gandhi, Ms Pratiksha Kedar, Mr. Akshit Agrawal, secretaries and Jt. secretaries of ED cells of Civil and Electrical departments along with other executive members lead to successful installation of ED cell.

Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology and Master of Computer Application (MCA) jointly organized the installation of OASIS - The Entrepreneur Development Cell body of respective departments on Saturday, 27th July 2012 at College Auditorium.

The Chief Guest of the program was Mr. Arun Saxena, CEO, Easypack Software India pvt. Ltd., Nagpur The Guest of Honour of the program was Mr. Arup Duttaroy, Head, B.I., Infocepts., Dr. V. S. Deshpande, Principal, RCOEM, was president of the function. Program started with the floral welcome of the guests. Prof. Mr. M R Jain, Chief Coordinator of OASIS, The Entrepreneur Development Cell (EDC), RCOEM, gave the introductory speech and explained the students the need of gaining knowledge about entrepreneurship and guiding them towards the right path to be a successful entrepreneur. Principal Dr. V. S. Deshpande in his speech elaborated the importance and advantages of entrepreneurship. Felicitation of the guests and installation of ED cell body of respective departments by distributing a badges followed thereafter. This was followed by the introduction of the Guests by Dr. M. B. Chandak, Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Mr. Arun Saxena, in his speech, mentioned how situation had made him an entrepreneur. He also explained different stages of a business and requirement of those stages. Arup Duttaroy explained in a very interesting way why one should become an entrepreneur. Lastly, the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. D. S. Adane Head, IT Deptt. which was followed by High tea and refreshments.

Oasis-The Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management (RCOEM) & Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur had organized a Three Day Workshop as “ENTREPRENUERSHIP AWARENESS CAMP” from 12th to 14th July,2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for third year Industrial & Mechanical students. The Workshops centralizes on the basic idea of “Entrepreneurship for Global Leadership” and also to promote entrepreneurship culture among students. The workshop got overwhelmed response with a participation 120 delegates.

The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Nitin Deveshwar , Managing Director at ESMS Pvt. Ltd. (Chief Guest), Mr. Jai Singh Chavan (Guest of Honor), Dr. V.S. Deshpande , Principal RCOEM , Prof M.R. Jain Chief Coordinator Oasis ,Dr. I.P Keswani(Industrial, HOD), Dr. Rajkumar Phatate (Asst.Prof.Institute of Management Technology ), Dr .M.M.Gupta (Mechanical, HOD) shared the dias for Inaguration. Dr.K.N.Agrawal , Dr. Neeta Shah(HOD, MBA) and Prof. D. R. Zanwar also grace Inauguration. Other faculty members from Industrial, mechanical and MBA were also present. Mr. Nitin Deveshwar gave students the mantra of dreaming Big. He said that hard work and sincerity cannot be replaced so one must strive towards putting in their best. Mr. Jai Singh Chavan addressed the gathering and inspired the students that will power and desire to achieve is the key to be successful. Self motivation is best way to reach to newer heights.

The first session of workshop was taken by Ms. Tinu Agrawal where she explained Entrepreneurship as a career choice and charms of an entrepreneur. She motivated student to desire for big things in life. Mr. Senthil Kumar made students to unleash their entreneurial potential. The first day ended with the enthusiastic session of Dr. J. Mohanthy where is very well computed that ideas have no age bars. He gave students the key on how to generate Business idea and also how to convert creative ideas into opportunities.

The second day of EAC started with truly motivating session of Dr. R. Phatate where he explained “What it takes to be an entrepreneur? He also made student aware of all the competencies, risks and rewards of entrepreneur. Mr. Raju Indukoori supported his ideas in the next session where he explained how to make Business plan and which was well supported by Dr. Kulbir Singh in the succeeding session. Dr. Kulbir singh opened the arena of Finance to students .He talked on new financing ventures to the gathering.

The whole EAC focused on importance of entrepreneurship for upcoming fresh engineers for global leadership

A MIHAN Visit was also arranged for the delegates on last day which the students enjoyed thoroughly. Students visited FUTURE GROUP warehouse in MIHAAN,which is an Indian privately held corporation that runs chains of large discount department stores and warehouse stores.

Installation program of OASIS - The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of Electronics and Communication, Electronics, and Electronics Design Technology Departments was held on 27 July 2011 at the college auditorium. The event was conducted to enlighten the students of EN, EC and EDT Depts. about the importance and advantages of entrepreneurship. The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mr. Mohan Agrawal, the guest of honor Mr. Rajnish Singh and Mr. Sanjay Gupta in the presence of the Principal Dr. V. S. Deshpande. It was followed by the introductory speech about entrepreneurship given by Mr. Siddhant Guralwar and Ms. Shivani Somani, members of the EDC committee. Felicitation of the guests and badge distribution ceremony for EDC members followed thereafter.

Prof. Mr. M R Jain, EDC Incharge of SRKNEC, gave the introductory speech and explained them the need of gaining knowledge about entrepreneurship and guiding them towards the right path to be a successful entrepreneur. His speech was followed by an interesting lecture delivered by Mr. Sanjay Gupta, past President of Alumni Association of SRKNEC. He gave an inspiring lecture to the students about his journey towards becoming an entrepreneur. Next lecture was delivered by Mr. Mohan Agrawal, who explained to the students about the likely roadblocks they may experience within journey and become an entrepreneur and the ways to combat these roadblocks. He emphasized on the significance of learning from the mistakes. Mr. Rajnish Singh motivated the students through his own example of being a successful entrepreneur. He presented various slideshows depicting his journey towards entrepreneurship which was highly inspirational for the students.

The other dignitaries, present in the programme were Mr. Tushar Margade, President of SRKNEC Alumni Association, Dr. S.B. Pokle, HOD of EC department, Prof. Mrs. R. R. Harkare, HOD of EDT Dept., and Prof. M.B. Damle. The Entrepreneurship Development Cell Co-ordinators Dr. Pankaj Agrawal, EC Deptt., Prof. Vilas Nitnaware, EDT Deptt and Prof. Shravankar of EN deptt were also present. Lastly, the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Rachna Balani, member of EDC committee which was followed by high tea and refreshments.

Empresario-a one day workshop on fundamentals & special traits of entrepreneurship was conducted by ED cell of industrial dept on 10th September2011. In the morning the program was inaugurated by Dr. T.S.Rawal a leading charted accountant and company secretary of central India. The president of the function was Shri Govindlalji Agrawal, Secretary of SRCEM & leading entrepreneur emphasis on importance of entrepreneurship for global leadership. Prof K.N.Agrawal HOD industrial enginiereenig gave a motivational talk on importance of entrepreneurship. The first session was conducted by Dr. T.S Rawal and his topic of discussion was "Money Management". After the tea break the second session was conducted by Prof. M.R.Jain on "Special traits of entrepreneurs". in the afternoon after lunch break the third session was conducted by Mrs. Renu Daga on "women Entrepreneurship and soft skills".after the tea break the games based on entrepreneurship was conducted by students coordinator themselves the program got overwhelming response from within the college and students from other colleges. Around 75 students participated in the workshop.after the program feedback form were given to students and the feedback was quite positive and most of the students were of the opinion that the duration of the program was short.

ShriRamdeobaba College of Engineering & Management (SRCEM), Department of Management Technology Organized Inaugural Ceremony of Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Cell on 1st October 2011 concerning the betterment of MBA and MCA students.

Idea was conceptualized by Prof. M.R. Jain (Co-ordinator OASIS-EDC, SRCEM) ,Prof Q. H. Jeevaji (Director DMT), Dr. Neeta V. Shah (Head DMT), , Prof. PritiVoditel (Head MCA),Prof. SunitaDhote,Prof.RanjeetaTiwari and Prof. Amir Khan of DMT. Chief Guest of the inaugural ceremony Mr. NitinKhara, CEO, Confidance Petroleum India Limited graced the occasion. He shared his success story and motivated students from his life experiences.

The Workshops centralizes on the basic idea of "Entrepreneurship for Global Leadership" and also to promote entrepreneurship culture among students .The workshop got a overwhelmed response with a participation of more than 150 delegates from JD polytechnic, Anjuman Polytechnic College and Central India polytechnic college and many more. The workshop was inaugurated by Mr.Nikhil Kusumgar ,Director of the N.K. Kusumagar & company (Chief Guest). Mr Govindlal Agravalji ,Secretary SRCOEM, Dr. V.S. Deshpande, Principal SRCOEM ,Prof M.R. Jain Chief Cordinator Oasis, Prof.R.Paliwal,Principal JD poly , Prof.Suresh Bang, Directore JD college ,Mr Subhash Rode, MCED centre head Mr. Hemant Waghmare shared the dias for Inaguration.A highly interactive and experts session where given to students which include Prof M.R. Jain who spoke on importance of entrepreneurship for upcoming fresh engineers for global leadership, Prof. Mr. Gadge and Mr. Tare of MCED,Hingna centre, guided the student regarding product innovation & business plan making, Prof K.N.Agrawal HOD of industrial Engineering of SRCEOM spoke about financial planning ,the famous entrepreneur & personality Development Trainer Mr. Pawan Sarda delivered a very interesting motivational talk on carrier planning & entrepreneurship. A session was also taken by a very experienced faculty of MCED Mr Shriniwasan who talked about various concepts of entrepreneurship. On the last day a special panel discussion was kept as "MY Story" where successful entrepreneur like Mr. Jaising Chauhan, Mr. Sanjay Gupta of success instrument Pvt ltd., Mr. Prakash Bisen & Mr. Rudrakant Bhattacharya of Luxmi Motors shared their experiences of being an entrepreneur and actively answered all the queries of delegates and concluded unanimously that "Hard work is the only shortcut for the success"

The valedictory function was conducted were in participant expressed their views and appreciated for arranging such workshops. A MIHAN Visit was also arranged for the delegates on last day which the students enjoyed thoroughly.

The workshop was inaugurated by Mr Govindlalji Agrawal , Secretary RCOEM, Prof M.R. Jain Chief Coordinator Oasis, Mr. Mukund Mohota President TIE Nagpur, Mr. Rajnish Singh Entrepreneur, Mr. Kaustubh Katdare CEO Crazy Engineering Technologies Private limited, Mr. Amit Grover Founder and CEO Nurture Talent Academy (Chief Guest)and Prof. R. Agrawal co-coordinator Oasis.

The first session was an open panel discussion where the experts Mr. Rajnish Singh, Mr Kaustubh Katdare , Mukund Mohoto not only shared there experiences as an entrepreneur but also enthusiastically answered the queries raised by the delegates. The post lunch session was conducted by Mr. Amit Grover ,an IIT Delhi and IIM Indore alumnus, who is also the founder and CEO of Nurture Talent Academy Kharagpur . He is an individual with a passion for entrepreneurship. He was previously worked with renowned companies like Infosys, Asian paint and Onida. He took an interactive session on Entrepreneurship & business plan workshop. He talked about how to generate ideas for the business? ,what is required skill set for an entrepreneur, key requirement for starting up and what are the ways and means of starting your journey. The session ended with high spirits and a promissory note.

Industry Institute Partnership Cell along with Entrepreneurship Development Cell (Electrical Department) has organized five day training programme on PLC and SCADA from 6th December 2011 to 10th December 2011. The programme was organized under the guidance of Prof. Hemant Diddee and Prof.U.B.Mujumdar. The programme contents are designed to introduce the different automation tools like Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) which are widely used in the industry. Linx Control, Nagpur, a premier automation company conducted the Programme. Around 65 students of Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical department participated in the programme.

A guest Lecture was organized by Oasis -Entrepreneurship Cell on the 17th December 2011.The Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering students got to interact with a Woman Entrepreneur Mrs. Nirmala Khandalgaonkar . It was very evident that the class greatly appreciated the opportunity to have her answer any doubts, queries or reservations they might have and be part of an open discussion wherein pressing issues from the field were discussed.

Prof. M. R.Jain opened the session by telling us about housewife turned entrepreneur and how successfully a 55 year old lady is running her company Vivam Agrotech from last 10 years. This programme was graced by the presence of Mr. Sachin Iyer (TIE),Nagpur ;Dr. I.P.Keswani , Prof. T.A.Madankar and other faculties members from the department. After that the Resource Person gave her presentation and told us about her company and her achievements which was highly commendable.. She explained the students about her journey of how she thought generating power from waste. The students found the session to be highly informative and useful. Nearly 110 students got benefitted through this programme. The programme came to the end with the vote of thanks proposed by Prof.R.Agrawal . It was an exceptionally informative session that allayed some of our fears to be an entrepreneur and cleared up that for being entrepreneur one requires passion and determination.

A Guest Lecture programme was organized by the Oasis-Entrepreneurship Cell especially for Final Year students and also third year students of Industrial Engineering on 4th January 2012. The Resource Person was Mr. Sachin Iyer , Executive Director from TIE Nagpur. The programme commenced with the welcome address given by Prof. M. R. Jain . After that the Resource Person gave his presentation on the topic "All Asia Business Plan." He explained the students about Strategies one can opt for starting his career as Entrepreneur and also explained the scope for Entrepreneurship in India. He also tried in making the students understand that for Entrepreneurship passion and enthusiasm is required and institutions like TIE is always ready to help Plans and Mind waggling ideas of students into realities by mentoring and also investing into it. He also benefitted students by answering their queries and showing them broader aspects to nurture Entrepreneurship The students found the session to be highly informative and useful. Nearly 50 students got benefitted through this programme. The programme came to the end with the vote of thanks proposed by Prof.R.Agrawal.

The OASIS- Entrepreneurship Development Cell of SRCOEM organised a 2-day workshop "ACCRETE" on 10th and 11th February in the college. This workshop was exclusively for first year students of college to promote entrepreneurship as a career option amongst them. The workshop started with the inaugural session graced by Mr. Devendra Parekh as the Chief Guest, Shri Banwarilalji Purohit- Chairman, SRCOEM, Dr. S.T. Deshmukh-Director, SRCOEM, Prof. Q.H.Jiwaji-Director, DMT, Dr. V.S. Deshpande-Principal, SRCOEM and Prof. M.R.Jain-EDC Chief Coordinator. It was followed by the session taken by Mr. Mukund Mohota who extended his views about entrepreneurs to the students. Mrs. Rozina Rana then conducted a psychometric test of the students to know their entrepreneurship ability and suggested ways to improve it. It was followed by Mr. Kautilya Chhajed which made students realise the benefits of being an entrepreneur. The first day ended with a motivating session by Prof. M.R.Jain who encouraged the students to be entrepreneurs.

The second day was started with Prof. Rakshal Agrawal who encouraged the students to be job providers rather than job seekers. It was followed by Mr. Sachin Iyer who gave brief knowledge about the organisations which supports entrepreneurship. A panel discussion was conducted by Prof. M.R.Jain with Mr.Rupesh Shah, Mr.Ashwin Balani and Mr.Vishesh Agrawal, the renowned entrepreneurs of Nagpur as panellists. They share their entrepreneurship stories and answered the queries of the participants which proved to be very beneficial to the participants. The last session of the second day was conducted by Mr. Pawan Sarda

which was a fun-filled interactive session for the students to understand the ways to succeed. A gaming session was conducted in the end to give a feel of entrepreneurship to the participants.

Over 250 participants attended the session and enjoyed the workshop throughout. The event was organised by the OASIS-EDC team led by Mr. Gopal Bhattad, President-EDC, Mr. Vaibhav Mohunta, Secretary-EDC and Mr. Hardik Soni, Treasurer-EDC. The "ACCRETE"- A Crowd of One, was a huge success and a great fun-filled learning experience for the students.

"ACCRETE" A Two day's program for creating awareness about Entrepreneurship for the first year students was conducted on 9th & 10th January 2010. Around 210 students were present for the program. The Inaugural speech was delivered by Dr.V.K.Jain, chairman of CAPS INSTITUTE, NAGPUR. Prof. M . M. Padnavis ,faculty from IMT conducted one session one creativity and its importance in Entrepreneurship. On day two, Mr. Faizle and Mr. Anup Dube, from feeling group conducted the full day session on How to prepare business plan, which was enjoyed and liked by the students very much. along with the sessions entrepreneurship games and tests are also conducted. In the evening certificate of participation is distributed to the students by Prof.M.R.Jain, chief coordinator, of ED CELL of the college.
