Features of Departments

  • 12 well equipped state–of-the-art laboratories with total investment of INR 1.68 cr.
  • Active Entrepreneur Development cell to develop the employer skills among the students. During the vacation, students go for industry training and enhance their knowledge in various fields.
  • Provision of semester long internship for final year students beside summer/winter vacation internship.
  • Provision of Majors and Minors courses in curriculum
  • Promotion of MOOCs & provision for credit transfer
  • Membership of professional bodies: IEEE, IETE, ISTE, The International Association of Online Engineering, The International Association of Engineers etc.

Career Prospects 

Graduates can work as technical support engineers,design/research and development engineers, production engineers or service engineers in various fields such as electrical and electronic companies. 

Placements

The Electronics & Communication Engineering department has the best placement track since its inception. Every year various companies conduct a campus placement drive for final year students in their VII & VIII Semesters. According to the data based on the year June 2022, out of 144 students, 133 students got placed, of which 104 were full 8th Sem Internship by Companies. The total number of offers received were 335 and the highest package was 20 lakhs.
