Session 2020-21

• Manveen kaur Oberoi, final year, Successful completed NPTEL online certification course on Programming in Java by IIT Kharagpur offered through SWAYAM with Elite grade.
• Students from final year Dhanshri Mundada, Shreya Ninave, Manveen Oberoi, Harsh A. Jadhav, Prajwal R. Boldhane, Abhishek A. Nagpure, Lokchand P. Chavhan published paper in international journal.
• 55 students of EDT department have successfully completed the online courses on MOOC platform like NPTEL, Coursera etc.
• Syed Asad Ali Madni, 2nd year EDT, adjudged 3rd Winner in Male Singing junior category in competition named TALAASH – Season 2 INDIAN ONLINE TALENT HUNTS.
• Rushikesh Mahajan 3rd year student, has successfully completed level 4 exam conducted by Trinity College London for Instrument: Plectrum Guitar under Art and Classical category.
• Shruti Upadhyay 2nd year student, has successfully participated in the E-Ouiz on Celebrating the 5th Ayurveda Day conducted on 13 November 2020,held under the guidance of ministry of education , ministry of ayush and MYGov.

Session 2019-20

A) Student Participation in Technical Events:

• Swarn Zargar, 6th semester student has successfully completed NPTEL online certification course of IIT Kanpur (8 weeks Jul-Nov 2019) on “Developing Soft Skills and Personality” with Elite gold grade and 5% topper in this course.
• Swarn Zargar has also successfully completed NPTEL online certification course of IIT Madras (4 weeks Jul-Nov 2019) on “Python for Data Science” with Elite grade.

• • Cheenkesh Arora a student of Final year has won Young Inventor Award at ACCS Arm Design Challenge ADC2017 on “Autonomous Vehicle” held on 24th -25th March 2018 at Bangalore.

  • Gangaprasad Kide and Omkar Singru final year students of EDT have been selected for 6 months internship program in Reliance Jio Infocomm, Mumbai.

• Taniya Choudhury and Nishita Bamblani final year students of EDT have been selected for 6 months internship in BYJU’s Think and Learn App Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore.

• • Taniya Choudhury a student of Final Year Represented Nagpur University in Western Vocals group category in National Level and secured 2nd position held at Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium, Rachi.

• Shubham Talkhande of V Semester Won Silver Medal in Control Line Air-Modeling at Inter Group Competition held under No. 2 Maharashtra Air Squadron NCC camp from 4-13 September 2017
• In All India Vayu Sainik Camp 2017 of NCC held from 21st October to 6th November held at Barkatullah Khan Stadium, Jodhpur Rajasthan. Shubham Talkhande student of 3rd Year Electronics Design Technology Department of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur has won Silver Medal in the Control Line Aero modeling. Prior to winning this, he also won Silver Medal in Aero Modeling event in Intergroup Competition Camp held under NCC.
• Palllavi Shende of IV Semester EDT secured third position in District Level Competition on Patriotism and Nation Building organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghathan under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

Session 2016-17

The Department of Electronics Design Technology bags first prize at ACCS ARM Design Contest 2016-17. ARM Student Design Contest on Smart Transport Systems by Advanced Computing and Communications society (ACCS), TVS motors and ARM University was conducted at TVS Institute of Quality and Leadership(IQL), Hosur on Monday 27th March 2017.
The Design Contest was aimed at innovative solutions implementing Smart Transportation Subsystems using a combination of embedded system, wireless and sensor technologies. This edition of the contest received about 130 entries from prestigious colleges of India including IITs and NITs.
After the knock-out round at VNIT, Nagpur and IIT Madras(Chennai) in January 2017, 14 top teams were short listed for the final round. The finals were organized by TVS Motors at their Institute of Quality and Leadership, Hosur.

Team of Students– Sarthak Kelapure, Madhulika Bhagwatkar and Ankit Gadpayle, mentored by Prof. Jitendra Zalke of Department of Electronics Design Technology, Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Manegement, Nagpur bagged the cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000 and an award for the institute for their innovative product “SafeRide Helmets”. • Sarthak Kelapure, Madhulika Bhagwatkar and Ankit Gadpayle students of EDT final year have been selected for the final round of ARM Design Contest (ADC2016) organized by advanced computing and communications society (ACCS), Bangalore and co-organized by ARM and TVS Motors. Out of all submissions, 129 teams were selected on the basis of presenting their idea in ADCOM conference at PES University, Bangalore on 10th and 11th September 2016, as a part of first round of selections. Later on in second stage of competition their project stood amongst 43 projects which were selected for the Zonal rounds. During this Zonal rounds which were held in VNIT, Nagpur on 7th January 2017, and team presented the first prototype of SafeRide Helmet.

• Ankit Gadpayle student of 6th Semester EDT, Sneha Shrivas, Vishaka Barai, Noopoor Misal, Vedant Sharma students of 4th Semester EDT participated in “AUB Robocon 16 (Asia Pacific Robotics Competition) at Balewadi Stadium, Pune from 3rd – 5th March 2016.

• Shubham Patil is Head of Technical Club in the session 2016-17.
• The 3rd year & 4th Year students of Electronics Design Technology Department organized Robotics Workshop “AutoTronix” on 4th September 2015 under Genesis Student Society. The primary goal of workshop was to provide a platform to all aspiring engineers to work on their ideas. The students presented a brief idea about basics of Robotics and Automation System. They explained basic design concepts of Line follower robot. The discussion was also focused on basic concepts of PCB Designing and manufacturing and how one can develop good and efficient systems. 82 students of all branches of engineering have attended the workshop with full zeal and made it a successful programme.
• The 3rd year & 4th Year students of Electronics Design Technology Department, organized a competition “Technoskills” On 4 September 2015. It was organized under the Technical Group, ‘GENESIS’ Student Society of EDT Department. The Competition was divided in to three phases, first phase involved Basic design concepts of discrete components, second phase was related to digital circuit design, 3rd phase was based on testing and error finding ability. 34 students from all Branches of engineering have attended the competition on electronic circuit design “Technoskills”.
• The Technical group, GENESIS student society of Electronics Design Technology Department organized Robotics workshop “ECD” on 7th September 2015. In this workshop students dealt with the electronic circuits used in making various application based designs like timer, counter. The training program has been designed to give a very brief overview of different circuits and components used in designing circuits.18 participants from different departments attended the workshop.
• Ravishree Durugkar, Ankit Gadpayle, Sumit Dandekar, Shubham Patil of 3rd Year and Vishakha Barai of 2nd year EDT participated in “Block warrior”, Event in IIT Tech Fest conducted by IIT Bombay, on 26th December 2015.
• Sneha Shrivas participated in “Quidditch” Event in IIT Tech Fest conducted by IIT Bombay, on 27th December 2015.
• Sarthak Kelapure, Madhulika Bhagwatkar and Ankit Gadpayle qualified for National rounds of ARM Design Competition at Advanced Computing and Communication society, Banglore.

• Tushar Anupkumar Sony of final year EDT brought laurels to the college by speaking on “Improving Indo-Russian relationship” during an India-Russia Youth Forum held in New Delhi. He highlighted the history of Indo Russian Friendship and Similarities of Indo-Russian Culture and he also suggested measures to strengthen the ties between the two nations through various Youth Exchange Programs as the main link between them. Tushar was among the 12 Indian Delegates to take part in this meet which was organized by Russian Centre of Science & Culture, Russian Union of Youth, and International Federation of Indo Russian Youth Clubs, Russia beyond the Headlines and BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) International Forum, New Delhi. Tushar was also selected as the Student Speaker in Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad, organized by Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune. Out of 8000 Students from across the nation, he was among the top 35 Student Speakers for this event. Tushar spoke on the topic “Heroes of India…Agents of Change” where he mentioned some great Indian Heroes like Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shashtri, Sardar Patel, Baba Amte, Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Raja Ram Mohun Roy and others.
• Sarthak Kelapure of 3rd Year EDT published a novel “A Known Stranger”. The novel inspires readers to follow their dreams instead of just letting them burn inside their heart. A Known stranger is all about Parth Shastri’s life journey after engineering. The story takes you up & down in Parth’s life of rage, friendship, office sleaze and relationship issues.
• Shushmita Mahajan and Shubhani Patil student of 2nd year and 3rd year EDT participated in University Tournament of Volley Ball, from 7th -10th October 2015.
