Three decades ago we envisioned building manpower that would help the country grow. Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM) was the manifestation of that vision and a commitment to achieve exemplary standards in engineering and management education.

RCOEM continues its relentless quest to raise the bar and set new benchmarks in the education sector. We strive to instil the same spirit in the students and provide an environment conducive to the pursuit of knowledge and over-all personality development. It has helped to mould the students into dynamic individuals who stand out among their peers. We preach value education and practice the values by following a transparent admission process which is based purely on the merit of the students.

Shri Purohit, a social activist and educationist, is the guiding force behind RCOEM’s success. He was elected as a Member of Parliament from Nagpur, thrice, and served as a Minister in the Maharashtra government. He is the mentor of Nagpur’s leading English daily, ‘The Hitavada’. Shri Purohit is also the Vice President of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, an educational trust which has educational institutions world over. He Chairs the Nagpur unit of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Schools with special responsibility of Central India.
