She has completed her graduation from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, has done her Masters in Computer Science and IT from Department of CSE, IIT Kharagpur. She has completed her Ph.D. from VNIT, Nagpur. She has more than 14 years teaching and 2 years Industry experience.

Her areas of interest include data mining, analysis of algorithms, distributed database management systems.

Apart from academics Dr. Voditel is also interested in reading, travelling and writing.
